Paweł Żaboklicki has been a member of the Students’ Government Council at the University of Lodz since October 2021 and has served as Vice-President of the Council since October 2023. Over the past few years, he has been involved in activities for the academic community, among other things, as a member of scholarship committees, the electoral committee and the education quality committee at the Faculty of Physics and Applied Informatics. He has been also involved in Juwenalia initiatives (including organising an e-sports tournament in Rocket League four times), and in dialogue with university students.
I value dialogue and an individual approach to each person. In my election programme, I proposed, among other things, regular meetings with students from individual faculties of the University of Lodz, prioritisation of and increasing the workload of the Students’ Government Council at the University of Lodz in terms of current affairs of students. Additionally, I postulated the intensification of cooperation with the Rector's Board, seeking, among other things, regular meetings of the university authorities with students
– says inż. Paweł Żaboklicki.
In his private life, Paweł is involved in maintaining enterprise-class software. He is interested in learning foreign languages (he speaks English fluently, Spanish and German at a communicative level, and also knows the basics of Russian and Greek), the culture of ancient Greece and Rome, and cybersecurity (with a particular passion for social engineering). Like most IT specialists, he is into computer games, and his favourites include the aforementioned Rocket League, as well as Counter Strike 2, the Assassin's Creed series, and the FromSoftware games (he is a proud owner of the Elden Ring platinum).
